The inaugural „Wrocław & Lower Silesia Startup Ecosystem Report 2025”, published by the Wroclaw Agglomeration Development Agency (ARAW) and Startup Wroclaw, provides the first-ever comprehensive analysis of the region’s dynamic innovation landscape.
The report tells a story of a region that has rightfully earned its title as „Poland’s Startup Capital.” Fueled by a world-class talent pipeline of over 117,000+ university students and a uniquely collaborative community, the ecosystem is thriving. This report moves beyond anecdotes to map out the incredible progress made and present a strategic vision for the future.
With a strong overall health score of 6.86 out of 10 from stakeholders, the report identifies key opportunities to accelerate growth and cement the region’s status as a top-tier European hub. These strategic focus areas include enhancing commercialization to turn great products into global businesses, expanding access to scale-up funding, deepening the synergy between academia and industry, and streamlining corporate-startup partnerships.
